I started working at Ogdensburg Elementary School in 2018 as a paraprofessional in the MD (multiple disability classroom). In my first year there I worked with students who were non-verbal, used walkers/arm braces to help them get around, were autistic, and had other disabilities along with learning disorders. For the following few years, I worked in 1st-grade general and 1st & 2nd-grade special education.

ABOUT

My name is Christina Bradley. I am married and have 3 children. I have a mini farm at home that consists of 100 chickens, 3 big dogs, and 16 cats. My family and I volunteer with and animal rescue, we have placed around 200 kittens and cats in their furever homes.

As a young child I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. I was in resource classrooms my whole life. I am dyslexic and have learning disabilities, because of that I relate well with struggling students and understand their frustration at school. I have learned many tricks over the years that have helped me complete my classwork and can not wait to share them with my students.

I am currently going to college at Grand Canyon University and will have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education

The link below is an ELA Fact vs Opinion lesson I taught.

The students were learning about bats. This lesson was interactive and the students really enjoyed the fun hand motions and saying that kept them interested and engaged the whole time.
